In 2012 Tutbury won a Silver Gilt as we did in 2011, but this time with 164 (maximum 200) points compared to 151 in 2011.

In 2013 we hop to improve on this.  The Heart of England In Bloom (HEIB) Judge’s summary for 2012 said:

Tutbury goes from strength to strength in only its second year, the Bloom Team has thrived and clearly here to stay. A town that is in its 20th year of an Open Gardens weekend has somewhat of a pedigree it has been hiding from HEIB far too long! Some excellent floral baskets, a new hanging basket competition and sustainable bedding. Tutbury Eco Power group will soon be ready to launch their share offer and their dream will be reality. Jane and Rick Nuth are doing truly inspiring work at Tutbury War Memorial ensuring that the towns heritage is both recorded and cherished. A very clean and welcoming town well deserved Silver Gilt.

With the active support of the people of Tutbury, we have the opportunity in 2013 to achieve Gold.  The following pages, listed on the right, will tell you everything about the 2013 initiative and how you can help (even if it is only picking up the odd bit of litter).
